About Me

Hi, I'm Jessica

I opened Resonate Crystals the beginning of 2019, but that's not when my crystal journey started. I always loved the colorful bowl of tumbled stones that my grandfather had, and one of my first crystals was a agate slice he got for me at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History. He helped me get my business degree from VCU, but I never had the opportunity to tell him about Resonate Crystals. He was hospitalized right after I got tickets to graduation and he passed away right before it. I did my first show a few months later and with the help of my support system have been able to grow - I also now have most of my grandfather's rock collection including the bowl of tumbled stones that started my journey.

When I was younger I had a mentor tell me that I had the opportunity to be a light in the world and that if he were to use one word to describe me it would be genuine. I was thirteen at the time and struggling to come to terms with the trauma that was happening in my family and I felt like I couldn't have an impact. Years later during a management training event I was asked what my personal mission statement would be, and the best way I could describe it is I've always wanted to share my light and help others do the same. When I left my job to pursue Resonate Crystals full time my last boss gave me one of my favorite compliments I've ever ever gotten - he told me that he was always impressed with my ability to not only see the best in people but to help them see it themselves.

Although I've always loved crystals it wasn't until recent years that I pursued training to be a crystal healer and developed a meditation and yoga practice. I'm happiest when I can help inspire growth and healing in others and I hope I can do that through my store.
